Petanque Bleue are the sole UK importers of the special hand made competition boules from La Boule Bleue, located in Marseille where their first boule were made in 1904.

A small team of highly experienced local artisans dedicated to the family firm proudly produce these high quality products.

Each boule is hand made throughout the process. Hand cut striations are etched into the raw metal spheres which are then individually stamped, tempered and cooled. The baking and cooling process is carefully adjusted to guarantee a specific hardness for each boule. The final polish and hand checking provides a finish of the highest quality unique to this traditional French family firm.
